Really busy

 This Week:

    This week has been insanely busy, especially yesterday. The new location of the gym I work at, Ultimate Sports Institute, opened yesterday and of course, I was closing. On top of that, the gym is right next to American Top Team the martial arts gym I train at. This made yesterday super hectic as the opening day had a massive show up. 

    Not to mention, on Monday at grappling practice I injured my lower left rib. It's just really inflamed but nothing some rest won't fix. I didn't think this would affect the scheduling of my project but it did. It was really difficult to sleep. If I remember correctly, I ended up getting around 4 hours of sleep. I couldn't sleep or roll even remotely towards the left side of my body. 

    When I woke up on Tuesday and had to go to school I was exhausted. As soon as I got home I ate then passed out around 4:30 and woke up around 7. I couldn't grapple but I could still do some light Muay Thai. My MMA gym only has Muay Thai Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8, and remember Thursday I work. I ended up going and my practice ended around 9. By the time I got home, showered, ate, and finally sat down there wasn't time to do anything. Well, I could have stayed up but this would jeopardize my sleep, something I definitely wasn't going to do 2 days in a row.

    Honestly, this is no big deal at all. I already finished my opening on Saturday and spent all of Wednesday revising the editing. I am really happy with how it turned out. My happiness isn't based on my liking but on people's reactions to it. I showed the opening to a variety of people yesterday. On Tuesday I showed the unrevised to my teammates after training. I really wanted to hear all the negatives and positives people say. I also want the most genuine opinions which In most cases I believe I got. 

    Despite this, I want to create a simple survey which you can see on the right. This survey will have people responding anonymously. I will also send the link of the survey in pairs to people  to ensure I don't know whos responding. I will take this feedback and use it to make my final revisions this weekend.

    Also this weekend, I will have to create my Creative Critical Reflection. It's not really unfortunate that the CCR creation got pushed back to this weekend. I actually prefer to work on the weekend when I don't have to worry about training or classes. This is exactly what I did for my film opening and is where I work the best. I am really happy with where I am at with this project. Everything came to a close really smoothly. I believe I paced everything perfectly which allowed gave me some leeway for weeks like this!
