1st Mood Board:
(context)
The images from all my mood boards are gathered from various sources. This is something that director Will Magnus suggested: I described this in my previous post "Selecting Genre". Mood boards will help me a lot in gaining a sense of the visuals I want to show. It will also help in giving me a sense of the feeling I want to give off. While looking for media, I looked at documentaries, photography, and movies. My first mood board bellow focused on the outside environment.

A majority of the opening will be shot outside. Because of this, It is so important I know exactly how I want it to look and feel. It was also important knowing how it will look throughout the day. Near the end of my shooting, I will have to work with different lighting. For the first image, I began my search on Getty Images. I searched for nature photography and came across this image from the account "photo voyager". I love the dark tone to the image. The shot was super wide, something I want to use for one of my scenes. I also liked how you could see the sunrays between the trees. This is something I also found in image 2. Image 2 also has a strong vignette effect on the left side. This is something I will do to put the focus on the character like the image above does. I found the image by searching for forest films on Google Images. I ended up finding a shot from the short film "Forest Man". Later, I will 100% watch the short film. It definitely has some other nice shots I could take inspiration from. The third picture is from famous landscaping photographer David Brooker. He focuses primarily on landscape photography but in this case I took a image from his weeding portfolio. I love how the image is color saturated, it gives a nice cinematic look. It also looks slightly grainy which maybe I can use in some scenes. Lastly, I found image 4 by searching for cinematic forest photography. The image is near sunset which gives me an idea of how my shots will look around that time. It also has a strong vignette similar to image 2 something I liked.
