So Chaotic

Today so Far:

I woke up an hour before my shift today to set up a new hard drive I bought. My SSD is full which slowed down my computer dramatically. I also have little space on my HDD so it was time to add to my PC. I would not be able to edit the CCR without the storage that's how little I had left. I knew this and ordered a hard drive a few days ago which came last night. After about 30 minutes of trying to figure out how to install the new hard drive, I figured out the cables I needed. I needed a SATA data and power cable to install the hard drive. I had the power but not the data so I planned on going right after work to office depot to buy the thing.

This is exactly what I did. I got off at 3:30 and got to the office depot at around 4:00. When I got there I was informed that they did not have the cable. I went to my car and tried to search online to find the nearest store carrying the item. I found the only store was Best Buy which was 30 minutes away. I took the long drive because I had no choice. I got the cable and took the long car ride back home.

When I got home I faced even more issues. I was not able to remove my GPU to put the SATA cable in. It was in such a small corner of my PC that it was impossible to get to. I had to get creative and around this time it was already almost 6. I began to panic a little as today I also have a math test I have to study for. Eventually, I got part of the cable locked into the motherboard. I used a small stick to push it in all the way and it finally went in. Then I plugged everything back in and went to turn on my computer.

Of course, when I turned on my computer it was stuck on the BIOS screen. It took me about 30 minutes to realize that I did not plug the SSD back in. After I did this, the computer started up perfectly. Once it was on, I had to start removing programs from my computer. These were mainly adobe software that I had to reinstall afterward. This was a real pain but eventually, I got enough storage.

Now I can finally begin to film and edit my CCR. I plan on staying up pretty late tonight so I can finish the CCR and put the finishing touches on it tomorrow morning. I will probably have to stay up late anyway to study for my math test as well. I'll be posting later today looking over everything. Making the CCR will definitely bring back a lot of memories(good and bad).
