SOUND!

All about the noise:

    Today I wanted to primarily focus on all the audio aspects of my project. I am a little late in researching music so I wanted to dedicate a day to it. Today I will also be determining which foley sounds I will be getting. 

    I began my research on Youtube. I went through several videos about non-copy-righted free music. You can see on the left some of the videos I went through.  Many of the songs I came across were the very EDM style. This is the exact opposite of what I wanted to have in my opening. I wanted a mysterious adventurous vibe to the opening. After some searching, I found an amazing channel named "heroboard – Music for Creators". They had a cinematic section on their page and I knew it was a matter of time before I found the song. Bellow is the song I selected and the list of foley sounds I will be making.

Just some testing:

    Today I also wanted to make sure I did some testing with my clips. I am a little late with the editing. This is mostly due to my friend not being available to help me film. Most of the shots I can do by myself I got. Regardless, I knew I wanted to edit early next week so I wanted to start testing color grading on After Effects. I made a sample video that you can view below!

    I still have to make some adjustments to the render settings but I love the color grading. It is exactly how I imagined it to be. It was relatively easy to work with After Effects as well which is amazing. I thought it would be way more of a challenge to learn. Overall, I did some good work today for the post-production. Despite this, I need to urgently film tomorrow for sure.
