Getting the Fonts:
Today I wanted to situate which fonts I would use for my opening. I knew I wanted the font not to be modern and ridged as the film is not sci-fi. I wanted the font to be simple as well and not to interact, I wouldn't want the credits to be unreadable. I also had a sense of the style I did want, not fantasy but slightly if that makes any sense. After figuring out everything I wanted I began searching. I came across this amazing website called "1001freefonts.com" which had a gallery of free fonts. I scavenged through the website and made the list below.

https://www.1001freefonts.com/barbarello.font
https://www.1001freefonts.com/future-time-splitters.font
https://www.1001freefonts.com/marcellus.font
After making the list, I began going through each one and deciding which I can use. Many were for personal use and required a license. This allowed me to narrow my list down a lot. Eventually, I ended up with 3 fonts I was going to test out. The three fonts included Barbello, Future time splitters, and Marcellus. I also wanted to try out some fonts pre-installed into my PC. You never know what you could find! I took a screenshot of a portion of my video to test out the fonts in photoshop, you can see the image below.
I ended up not even comparing the Marcellus font as it looked horrible. Instead, I have Future time splitters in the middle, Barbello on top, and a default font on the bottom called High Tower text. If I'm going, to be honest, I really like how the default text looks. I think the Barbello looks hideous as it's way too thin, the barbwire was a cool concept though. It is definitely between Future time splitters and High Tower text, I'm leaning towards High Tower text.
I am going to make the final decision whilst I am editing. This way I can see how the text workings into the opening itself. Tomorrow I will also begin filming again. I have the SAT tomorrow but that's in the morning. I also have worked right after so I will have to film after I get off. No worries though, If I don't get to it I will do something for the post-production and film on Sunday. So far, I am on a good pace with my project:)
