Bellow is a general schedule for my project. Many of the sections assume I will choose option 3. Either way which ever option I choose this schedule will allow me to pace myself well. It will also hopefully help me not procrastinate!
Week One:
-choose project option
-start developing general idea for project
-research about project genre
-post to blog
Week Two:
-continue research on project genre
-develop more specific ideas for project (people & places)
-post to blog
Week Three:
-finalize development of project idea(name, people, places, concept, and overall goal)
-develop questions for interview(if doing documentary)
-create a general filming/editing schedule (confirm with interviewees if doing doc)
-create a general shot list
-post to blog
Week Four:
-compile all concept media in a folder for inspiration/reference later
-attempt to begin filming starting with interviews than b-roll (if doing doc)
-figure out what aesthetic the social media will be
-document production process (for social media and blog)
-post to blog
Week Five:
-first social media post
-add to inspiration/reference folder
-continue or start filming this week if not done last week
-creating editing folder organizing media, sounds and video
-begin planning print component
-post to blog
Week Six:
-finalize any filming, making sure all content filmed is not corrupt and good
-start editing
-continue planning of print component if possible start creating concepts
- 1 or 2 posts to social media
-post to blog
Week Seven:
-research information relating to Critical Reflection
-finalize editing video
-begin creating print portion
-post to social media
-post to blog
Week Eight:
-figure out what to do for critical reflection, make a plan
-finalize video component
-continue working on print portion
-post to social media
-post to blog
Week Nine:
-create Critical Reflection
-finalize print component
-make touch ups on video, have people view and critique
-post to social media
-post to blog
Week Ten:
-create final, overall project reflection
-post all project components to blog
-Post Critical Reflection to blog
-final social media post
-make any changes if necessary from peoples critiques
